our area surrounding Dragon Cement.
Below is a small section of Dragon Cement's limestone quarry operation which is adjacent to Route 1 here in Thomaston Maine. It is important to note that this area is approximately 50% residential, and 50% commercial, Dragon being in the center of both. More photos of examples relative to the population here will be posted soon. Thanks for your patience.

As seen here, the quarry is adjacent to Route 1 in Thomaston and there are many local businesses impacted by Dragon's weekly blasting and dust problems. For more information regarding Dragon's mine violations and history please visit www.msha.gov and on the left hand column click on "Data Retrieval System", and then enter Dragon Cement's Mine Identification number #1700022. Once there, it is easily accessible to view a history of accidents, health related problems, and much more.
